The objective of the GSC Early Career Rotational Program is to develop leadership skills and attributes with a blend of supply chain knowledge and experience and business so that you are ready to make a positive impact to the supply chain organization. While being self-motivated is a key, Amgen provides a robust system to help make you successful. Selected candidates will work under minimal supervision and receive a solid mentor, coaches, and buddy support system to guide you throughout the program.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Complete 3 GSC functional rotational assignments and tasks
  • Dive into new topics, work areas and functions, ramp up your knowledge quickly to contribute meaningfully, and meet expectations and milestones
  • Demonstrate agility and flexibility while transitioning through 3 rotations
  • Understand the wider business context and how your own work contributes to Amgen's strategies and goals
  • Use data and insights to drive business performance

Global Supply Chain Early Career Rotational Program Facts

The cohort kicks off in July 2024, candidates must be available for full-time employment in July 2024. The 28-month Rotational Program consists of a 2-month pre-boarding for system and process training, three 8-month rotations in Master Data, Global Planning and Global Distribution and a 2-month offboarding.

After successful completion of the program, we expect that you will be well-prepared to succeed in future roles and take on leadership challenges in our organization.

Basic Qualifications

·Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering or other relevant disciplines obtained from an accredited college or university by the time program kicks-off in July 2024

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven leadership skills, demonstrated through extra-curricular or work experience activities
  • Previous Amgen or relevant industry experience in biopharma, manufacturing, or engineering environment 
  • Minimum GPA of 3.20 preferred
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across teams and levels of management
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a dedicated approach to achieving success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly

The annual salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $70,367 - $85,077.
