Bethune-Cookman University was the first official partner of HBCU 20x20 and The Application. Since 2017, we have assisted hundreds of students with jobs and internships. In this picture, staff members pose for a picture after hosting a workshop about what it takes to obtain a business internship.
One of our first official partners was Uber. To start the partnership, we brought Uber to the campus of Alabama A&M University to recruit and host workshops centered around their internship and engineering opportunities.This picture is of Uber hosting the workshop.
Ohio State University became our first PWI to visit. As the host of the Ohio Classic, we brought over twenty companies to the University to recruit local HBCU alums and enjoy the football game between Kentucky State University and Central State University. Over 20,000 people were in attendance. This picture is of our staff celebrating a successful turnout.
Students at Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Clark Atlanta University have been some of our most requested talent. In this picture, we brought Twilio to the campus of Clark Atlanta University to teach students how to pass technical interviews, specifically HackerRank. This picture shows the students who participated in the workshop, Twilio Staff, and our staff celebrating a great event.
In July of 2021, HBCU 20x20 made history by becoming the official career center of Morris Brown College. Assisting the staff and supporting the students with career resources has brought our mission to life.
